As of 1 PM EST National Weather Service Doppler radar showed snow showers over The Spine of the Green Mountains...LaMoille County...and Washington County. The snow will continue through early afternoon...with 1 to 3 inches of additional accumulation expected. The heaviest snow will be located in LaMoille and Washington County...especially along the Route 100 corridor. Visibility will be reduced to less then one half miles at times in the heavier snow. Motorists should use extreme caution if traveling through central Vermont this afternoon as roads will become very slick.
